Allen Chapin

Lead Pastor

Allen, Angela, Alex & Austin Chapin have served as Lead Pastors here at Bridge City First since June 2019.   Allen is also temporarily leading the Student Ministry at BC1, and Angela leads the Sunday Morning Kids Ministry experience.

Allen and Angela have been married more than a quarter of a century, and they absolutely love doing life with their two miracle sons.    They love laughing, going to Christian concerts, the Smoky Mountains, and the Christmas season.

Pam Suggs

Prayer & Care Director

Pam has been a part of Bridge City First for more than 30 years and has served in a variety of ministries throughout that time.  She currently serves to care for the members of the church family around here.  In addition, she leads the Dream Team… a group of passionate leaders who help create big events and outreaches for our community.  Did we mention that Pam does a lot around BC1?  She leads the Women's Ministry with deep commitment as well.

Pam has been married to Gary longer than she might care to admit, and together they are huge blessing to anyone they meet.

David  & Wendy Myers

Small Group Directors

David & Wendy have served in ministry for a few decades- we won't say how many because we love them too much- and prioritizing spiritual growth in small group environments has always been a key part of their ministry success.  If you want to know how to grow spiritually and relationally around here, they are the go-to couple.

David also serves as the Postmaster in Sulphur, LA (just across the border from us).  Wendy loves serving her family as wife, mom, and grandma.

Delaney Lemoine

Worship Leader

Having grown up in the church, Delaney has stepped into her own in recent years as she uses her talents both vocally and on the keys to help lead us into worshiping God full-tilt at Bridge City First.

She is happily married to Landon since March 2022.  You’ve never met anyone more concerned about saving strays and helping single women who have become pregnant.  It’s that heart of compassion that makes her shine.

Brenda Moore

Office Administrator

Behind the scenes making it all happen each week is this lovely lady.  She has the sweetest spirit, and can take care of business.   She‘s a massive blessing to Bridge City First, and we are grateful to have her on the leadership team!

Brenda‘s joy is chasing her grandkids to every game or competition and cheering them on.   Her heart is always focused on serving others and making their lives easier.

Meet more of the team.

The old adage "Teamwork makes the dream work" is certainly true
at Bridge City First. We believe every member has a ministry.
And to lead some of the ministries, we have invited following people
to help make the dream a reality

Duane & Linda Gault

Loaves & Fishes Soup Kitchen
This ministry began feeding the nutritionally challenged in our community in 2022 & now serves more than 150 individuals every Thursday, thanks to the leadership of the Gaults. Duane also serves as  the Men's Ministry Director, and Linda serves as Design Coordinator for all things decor and facilities, as well as serving on the Events Team.

Roland & Heather Hernandez

Safety Team  & Nursery
This dynamic couple serves everywhere they can at BC1. Specifically, Roland leads our Safety Team, and Heather leads the Nursery & Toddlers Ministry. They also host the monthly Game Night at the church on the last Saturday of each month, help keep the church clean, and Heather also gives leadership to the Moms Day Out Ministry. They both serve on the Events Team.

Eric & Savannah Pelt

Media Team & Moms Day Out
Eric leads the Media Team- the folks who handle all the lights, video, presentation, and sound for services.  (That's a lot, in case you didn't know.)  Savannah helps give leadership to Moms Day Out & serves on the Kids Ministry team.  They both serve on the Events Team.

Bobby & Sherry Tisdale

Hospitality Team
Bobby & Sherry know just how to show that Southern hospitality & make people feel like they are instantly a part of the BC1 family.  "Grab a donut and some coffee, and let me introduce you to someone."  She is the quintessential Southern lady & Bro. Bobby loves to study history.  So it's quite possible you might get a hug and learn something by the time service begins,
